Medical Review Policy

Last Updated:

Health information is only useful if it is accurate. This page explains who checks the articles on our blog before they are published, what that check looks at, and the limits of it.

Our articles are for education and awareness. Medical review makes them more reliable; it does not turn them into personal medical advice. For any health concern, please consult a qualified doctor.

Who reviews our articles

Our health articles are written and medically reviewed by Dr Suhail Siddiqui, an Ayurvedic physician with SS Herbal India.

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.), 2024 — Choudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
  • Registration: UP Board of Indian Medicine, Registration No. 77487

The registration can be checked with the UP Board of Indian Medicine. We publish it so that readers do not have to take the qualification on our word.

One reviewer, stated plainly

At present the same qualified practitioner both writes and reviews our articles. We do not have a separate, independent medical reviewer, and we do not describe our articles as independently reviewed. If that changes, this page will name the reviewer and their qualifications, and the articles they review will say so.

When review happens

  • Before publication. Every new article is read for medical accuracy before it goes live. An article that has not been through that check is not published.
  • Existing articles. In September 2026 every article then on the blog was reviewed again.
  • After a change. When an article is revised, the revision is reviewed in the same way, and the article's last updated date changes so readers can see it.
  • After a report. When a reader tells us something may be wrong, it is checked under our Corrections Policy.

What the review checks

  • That facts about a condition — its causes, symptoms and warning signs — are accurate.
  • That the article makes clear when a symptom needs a doctor, and does not suggest managing it at home instead.
  • That nothing in it tells a reader to stop, reduce or replace medicine a doctor has prescribed.
  • That traditional Ayurvedic practice is described as tradition, and not presented as a proven cure.
  • That statements are supported by the sources the article lists.
  • That the article carries its disclaimer.

What the review does not do

  • It does not make an article a diagnosis or a treatment plan for any individual.
  • It does not approve any product. Where an article links to one of our products, what that product is intended to support is set out on the product's own page, together with its ingredients, cautions and manufacturing licence.
  • It is not a substitute for seeing a doctor. No article, however carefully checked, can account for your own history, medicines or condition.
